Asteroids
Atari (1979)
Asteroids is a space-themed multidirectional shooter which was made by Atari in 1979. It is one of the biggest hits of the golden age of arcade games. In this game, players control a triangular space ship in the middle of an asteroid field. Flying saucers will also fly through this field and shoot at the player. The objective is to shoot and destroy asteroids and saucers while avoiding asteroids and enemy fire. The difficulty of the game increases as the number of asteroids increases.
Buck Rogers Pinball
Gottlieb (1980)
This pinball game is one of the first electronic pinball machines of the era. It is based off of the 70’s science fiction TV show. This machine features several drop targets, pop bumpers, and features 70’s tone art and sound effects. It certainly is a time capsule.
Centipede
Atari (1980)
Centipede is a fixed shooter arcade game released by Atari in 1981. Play solo – or with a friend – to control the Bug Blaster to fire darts at centipedes, spiders, fleas, and scorpions. Each enemy has unique movement patterns and requires different strategies. Watch out! If they touch you, you’ll lose a life. Lose enough, and it’s game over! Play solo, or with a friend.
Cruis’n Exotica
Midway (1999)
Cruis’n Exotica is a racing game created by Midway in 1999. It is the third installment in the Cruis’n series. Race against 9 other drivers to the finish line. Players can choose their driver and car before selecting a course. Drive through exotic world locations like Las Vegas, Holland, The Amazon, and more. You can even race on Mars!
Defender Cocktail
Williams (2012)
Defender is a scrolling shooter that was released by Williams in 1981. It is heavily inspired by Space Invaders and Asteroids. Protect civilization from waves of invading aliens while protecting astronauts. If astronauts are captured, they will be converted into mutants which can attack you. Destroy all of the aliens and protect the astronauts to advance through endless levels! If you lose all of your ships, it’s game over!
Donkey Kong
Nintendo (1981)
Donkey Kong was created by Nintendo in 1981, and quickly became one of the highest selling arcade games of the early 80’s. Donkey Kong was a pioneer for arcade platformers. It even debuted Mario who at the time was called Jumpman. Players control Jumpman, and must ascend the construction site to rescue his girlfriend Pauline from Donkey Kong. Avoid obstacle by jumping over them or using the ladders scattered throughout the level.
Elvira Party Monsters Pinball
Midway (1989)
Elvira Party Monsters was made by Bally in 1989, and features the horror show hostess that everybody loves! Light the skull cave and a hefty point bonus! This machine features jumper bumpers, multi-ball action, and tons of nods to classic horror monsters. Find Count Dracula, uncover coffins, and ward off party ghouls.
Frogger
Konami (1981)
Frogger was released in 1981 was received as one of the greatest video games ever made. The goal is to simply guide a frog to each of the empty homes located at the top of the screen. Each frog starts at the bottom of the screen and the player must avoid an onslaught of obstacles including cars, trucks, bulldozers, and alligators. Sometimes, a female frog may appear which can be carried for bonus points. Players clear the stage by placing a frog in each available home.
Galaga
Namco (1981)
In this fixed shooter, players control a starship to destroy formations of Galaga Forces in each stage while avoiding enemy projectiles. Occasionally, alien ships will dive at the player’s starship while shooting. If the starship collides with an alien ship or projectile, the player will lose a life. Boss Galaga at the top of the formation require two hits to be killed and will attempt to capture the player’s ship using a tractor beam. Clear stages to progress.
Gauntlet Dark Legacy
Midway (1999)
Gauntlet Dark Legacy is the sixth installment in the Gauntlet series. In this dungeon crawler, up to four players choose from a Jester, Sorceress, Dwarf, or a Knight to fight through various levels of enemies and defeat the bosses of eight worlds to win the game. Characters can perform strong or weak moves, and passively charge a turbo meter throughout gameplay to perform large attacks. Various items are available throughout the levels to help players along their journey. Enjoy with friends and survive to the end!
Godzilla Pinball
Stern (2021)
Chaos and destruction will ensue during this Godzilla pinball experience. Become Godzilla and ally with Mothra, Rodan, and Anguirus to battle against invading Xiliens. Conquer Mechagodzilla to become the King of Monsters. This machine features falling skyscrapers, destroyed bridges, custom molded figures, and tons more!
Hulk – Avengers Pinball
Stern (1981)
The Avengers have entertained audiences in comics and on the big screen for decades. Now the franchise can be enjoyed with pinball! Help the Avengers assemble, and defeat Loki. This machine features the Hulk, and includes a spinning custom molded figure, drop targets, and a spinning Tesseract. This machine also features other members of the Avengers along with key moments from the franchise.
Ice Ball
ICE (1982)
Ice Ball is a modern twist on alley rollers. Players receive a queue of polished plastic balls which are rolled down the alley and off a ramp into baskets to earn points. Different baskets are harder to hit and earn you more points. Its a pretty straight forward but addicting game. Score as many points as you can and see if you make the high score list for everyone to see!
Millipede
Atari (1982)
Millipede is the sequel to the 1980 classic, Centipede. In this sequel, players ditch the Bug Blaster for an Elf character called the Archer who must defend his mushroom forest from the infestation of gigantic insects. Atari also added new enemies like the Earwig, Bee, Inchworm, Ladybug and much more, each with new and improved movement patterns. The Millipede moves faster in this sequel, so be on your best game!
Ms. Pac-Man
Midway (1982)
Ms. Pac-Man is the sequel to the incredibly successful Pac-Man. Ms. Pac-Man was not created by Namco, but was instead developed by General Computer Corporation and released by Midway in 1982. The game was received incredibly by American audiences was praised for its changes to the original game. While the core gameplay is identical to Pac Man, there are a few differences. Four different mazes with corresponding colors were added to the game which appear and alternate as players progress through levels. There are two sets of warp tunnels as opposed to one. The ghosts were also given new behavior patterns.
Pac-Man
Namco (1980)
Pac-Man is a maze-based action game released internationally by Namco in 1980. It is considered by many to be one of the most successful and influential games of all time. It was a massive success in North America with an estimated 30 million players by 1982. Players control Pac Man and must eat all of the dots while avoiding the pursuing ghosts. Eating all of the dots will advance the player to the next level. If a ghost catches you, Pac Man loses a life. Lost them all and you lose!
Q-Bert
Gottlieb (1982)
Q-Bert was released in 1982 and is recognized for its use of isometric graphics to create 3D looking elements. It is easily one of the most recognizable arcade games from its time. The goal of the game is to use Q-Bert to charge each cube on the pyramid shaped levels to a target color. There are various obstacles and enemies which Q-Bert should avoid along the way. The enemies have different movement patterns. Some instantly kill Q-Bert upon contact while others simply fall off the level, so watch out!
Shrek Pinball
Stern (2008)
Enjoy everyone’s favorite Ogre with pinball! Enjoy all of the characters of the Shrek franchise. See if you can spot all of their figurines in the machine! Enjoy the unique feature of this pinball machine; Donkey’s Mini Playfield – a special area in the machine with its own mini-flippers, ramps, and targets.
Space Invaders
Taito, Midway (1978)
Space Invaders is a space-themed shoot’em up. It was developed by Taito in Japan, and distributed by Midway overseas. It is the first fixed shooter and it set the template for the genre. In this game, the player mans a laser to shoot at waves of enemy aliens from behind defensive barricades. Aliens move horizontally across the screen as they descend. As you reduce the enemy numbers, the remaining aliens will get faster, and so will the music! Live and earn as many points as you can.
Street Fighter II Pinball
Gottlieb (1993)
This machine was created by Gottlieb and CAPCOM based on the immensely popular Street Fighter 2 arcade game. The goal is to defeat 12 opponents by making particular shots while the white light with the opponents name is on. When you defeat an opponent you will be rewarded with unique prizes like multi-ball, double points, and much more. You can even elect to play mini games!
Super Chexx Bubble Hockey
ICE (1988)
CHEXX was manufactured by Innovative Concepts in Entertainment, Inc. (ICE) from 1988 to 2017. It became Super Chexx following its rise to popularity in the 80’s. The game plays similarly to foosball. With players taking control of five hockey players and a goalie by manipulating rods which extend from the table. You can even simulate booing crowds by pressing the “Boo Button.” Our table features an NHL licensed Flyers skin.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Konami (1989)
Konami released this game shortly after the animated television series began airing in 1987. Up to four players choose between one of the four Ninja Turtles to save April O’Neil and Master Splinter from Shredder. Each Ninja Turtle has different ranges and attack speeds. Players can perform special moves, platform off of walls, and use objects from the environment to defeat Shredder’s foot soldiers. Use all of these to clear courses and boss fights before finally confronting Shredder!
The Mandalorian Pinball
Stern (2021)
Play “in a galaxy far, far away.” In this pinball quest, play as The Mandalorian. Team up with allies to protect Grogu against bounty hunters and the Empire. This machine features bounty hunter ambushes, gravity-changing encounters, multi-ball mayhem, and more!
The Simpsons
Konami (1991)
The Simpsons was released by Konami in 1991 and was one of the top three best-selling arcade games of the year. In this side-scrolling beat’em up, up to four players can choose between Homer, Marge, Bart, and Lisa to chase after Smithers through the city of Springfield. The various characters have different distinct attacks and can perform combined attacks on enemies when standing close to each other. Eight courses must be cleared before fighting Smithers and Mr. Burns to win the game.
Virtua Fighter
Sega (1993)
Virtua Fighter is widely recognized as the first 3D fighting game. Face off against your friends and choose from 20 unique characters to battle it out. Players can punch, kick, and guard, and must deplete their opponent’s stamina meter to knock them out. With the right button combination players can even perform special moves that are unique to each character. Win two out of three rounds to win the match. Fight!
